I’m Wyndie — I grew up in Cottonwood, in a small-town, close-knit community my family has been part of for four generations. From Christmas parades at my great-grandmother’s flower shop in Old Town to hunting with my dad in the foothills of Clarkdale, the Verde Valley shaped the way I see the world.
Like a lot of kids from small towns, I left for a while — first to Flagstaff for school, and later to Florida for a year because I wanted to live by the warm ocean and try something different. But living somewhere flat, without mountains to tell direction, never felt quite right. I found my way back home.
I didn’t choose real estate because it looked glamorous. I needed something I could build — something that would allow me to stand on my own. My friend, and now broker, encouraged me to get my license, so I went to real estate school and in my first year, I sold 25 homes. It wasn’t luck. It was work, grit, and a willingness to figure things out one person at a time.
Real estate became more than a career — it became a way to help people through big life decisions with clarity and honesty. Homebuyers and homeowners don’t need pressure. They need someone who listens, asks better questions, and isn’t afraid to tell the truth about pricing, timing, or what a house is really worth.
Today, I work throughout the Verde Valley — Cottonwood, Sedona, Camp Verde, Clarkdale, and Cornville — helping people navigate real decisions, not just transactions. Some are buying their first home. Others are selling one filled with memories. Some are starting fresh.
I approach real estate with a strategic mindset — pricing, presentation, negotiation — but I never lose sight of the human side. A house isn’t just a structure. It’s a turning point, and it should be treated with care.
Over the years, I’ve continued to study this industry like a craft. I hold designations such as ABR®, AHWD®, C2EX®, and Certified Master Negotiator, and I’ve served as President of the Sedona Verde Valley Association of REALTORS®. I stay involved on the MLS board and state committees because if I’m going to work here, I believe I should help shape the future here too.
Outside of real estate, I’m usually cooking with music on, planning an impromptu trip, scuba diving when I can, or sitting around a fire with people I care about. I value real conversations, good coffee, and mornings that don’t start in a rush.
If you’re exploring the Verde Valley — whether you’re buying, selling, or just figuring out where life is taking you next — I’m here when you’re ready. No scripts. No pressure. Just a local who knows the land and believes decisions this big deserve honesty.
